NAMWATER has announced a planned water supply stoppage on the transfer system from Swakoppoort to the Okongava reservoirs, affecting several communities and facilities from 16 February at 08:00 to 18 February at 16:00.
The areas expected to be impacted include Karibib Town, the NDF Base at Spesbona, Otjimbingwe, and the Navachab Mine.
NamWater is engaging with all affected end users and will provide confirmed details once the final operational plan is in place. Residents and stakeholders are urged to store sufficient water in advance and use available supplies responsibly during the stoppage.
The utility thanked the public for their cooperation as essential maintenance work is carried out to ensure reliable water services.
