THE vendors who currently conduct their business in front of the Small and Medium Enterprises Park in the Onandjaba village of the Okalongo constituency in the Omusati Region will be relocated to more suitable premises in order to improve orderliness and create a conducive business environment.
This was announced on Monday during a site visit by the Minister of Industries, Mines and Energy, Modestus Amutse.

The minister visited the park to assess the status of the facilities and observe ongoing developments.
A significant percentage of business and office space in the park is already occupied by various entities, with many more having expressed interest.
Efforts are ongoing to address challenges such as non-occupancy, vandalism, and the need for renovations, among others.
The minister encouraged broader participation and called on all Namibians to contribute to the success of the business facilities, whether through sharing advice, expertise, or by partnering with the authorities to conduct business at the facilities.
Constructed by the Offshore Development Company (ODC) almost two decades ago, the Okalongo SME Park initially had the capacity to accommodate fifteen business entities.
