GLOBAL Ambassadors led by Miss World Namibia 2025, Selma Kamanya, are touring Namibia as part of the Global Namibia 1 initiative in a campaign aimed at strengthening the country’s international profile in tourism, trade and investment.

The initiative is supported by the Ministry of Information and Communication Technology through the Nationhood and National Pride Programme, which seeks to promote Brand Namibia across global platforms.

So far, the ambassadors have toured several key destinations, including Sossusvlei, King Nehale in Etosha, the Ongandjera and Uukwaluudhi Palaces, Swakopmund, Sandwich Harbour, the Walvis Bay Salt Factory and the renowned Pink Lake.

Collectively boasting a social media following of around 700,000, the ambassadors are expected to amplify Namibia’s visibility by showcasing the country’s landscapes, cultural heritage and investment potential to international audiences.
