TWO learners from the Narraville Primary School in Walvis Bay have tested positive for Covid-19.
This was confirmed in a letter sent by the school principal, Yolandy Theron, who reported the matter to a circuit inspector.
“We wish to inform you that two learners from our school have tested positive for COVID-19. The matter has been reported to the circuit inspector, and the affected learners are receiving proper care.
Please be assured that all necessary precautions will be put in place, and learning continues under strict hygiene and monitoring measures. There is no need to panic,” Theron said.
She further urged parents to remain alert following the confirmed Mpox case and to encourage regular handwashing and keeping children at home if they show any signs of illness (fever, rash, or flu-like symptoms).
