THE Namibia Youth Energy Forum (NYEF) will host the Namibia Energy Connect & Energy Trailblazer Awards 2025 from 4–5 November at Droombos, Windhoek, bringing together key players in Namibia’s energy sector.
Under the patronage of the Office of the First Spouse in the Presidency and in partnership with the Namibia Investment Promotion and Development Board (NIPDB), the Namibia Petroleum Operators Association (NAMPOA), the Namibia Green Hydrogen Programme, and Bank BIC Namibia, the event will celebrate innovation, leadership, and collaboration across the energy industry.
The programme includes exhibitions, masterclasses, strategic roundtables, SME showcases, and the Energy Trailblazer Awards Gala, which will honour individuals, organisations, and institutions in over 15 categories, including innovation, leadership, renewable energy, mentorship, community impact, and women in energy.
A highlight of this year’s event will be the official launch of the Youth Energy Fund, aimed at supporting youth-led projects, promoting entrepreneurship, and creating pathways for young Namibians to enter the country’s growing energy sector.
“Namibia Energy Connect & the Energy Trailblazer Awards is more than an event,” said Andreas Paulus, Director of NYEF. “It is a national platform for empowerment, collaboration, and action. With the support of our partners, we are building a future where young Namibians are central to driving the country’s energy transition.”
Key industry players supporting the event include TotalEnergies EP Namibia, Shell Upstream BV, KAESO Energy Services, Bank BIC Namibia, and others, offering mentorship, technical expertise, and financial backing to empower youth and SMEs in the energy sector.
