A 69-YEAR-OLD Namibian man, identified as Tommi-Riva Numbala, allegedly took his own life at a farm near Usakos.

According to Senior Inspector Judith Shomongula, the incident happened on Wednesday, 17 September 2025, at around 10:00 at Farm Satamab, Pos 2, Usakos.

It is alleged that Numbala was discovered hanging in an open area in front of his house by his employee.

“According to his employee, the deceased left the farm for Windhoek on Sunday, 14 September 2025, in the evening to see his wife who is admitted in hospital. He only came back yesterday, Tuesday, 16 September 2025, at around 19:00. His employee opened the gate for him, greeted him, and left while he was parking his vehicle, only to discover his lifeless body,” Shomongula said.

The body was taken to Usakos State Hospital mortuary for storage.
