THE Namibian Police Force in the Oshana Region is investigating a case of attempted murder after an on-duty guard was allegedly attacked by two unknown suspects on Friday.
The 39-year-old man was reportedly attacked around 03:30 at Monte Carlo Bar in the Okangwena location of Ondangwa.
According to a police weekend report issued on Sunday by NamPol Head of Public Relations Kauna Shikwambi, the victim was allegedly hit with a hammer on the head and arms, and stabbed with a knife on the right leg.
The victim is admitted to Onandjokwe Hospital in a stable condition.
