The official opening of the University of Namibia (UNAM) cultural festival at the Oshakati campus was enlivened by a captivating performance from the Nashikonya Cultural Group.
The group entertained the audience with a powerful melody that praised Namibia as their home and celebrated the country’s abundant natural resources.
The performance was a highlight of the opening ceremony, which marks the beginning of the annual cultural festival being held at all 11 of UNAM’s campuses.
The festival aims to celebrate and promote the rich diversity of Namibian culture, bringing together students, staff, and community members to share in music, dance, and traditions.
