THE police have arrested two men, Kuje Tjimuine (31) and Nekwa Gabriel Hangula (22), in connection with the murder of a 16-year-old boy whose lifeless body was found between Usab location and Karibib on 28 May 2025.
The deceased has been identified as Antonio Xamseb, a Grade 10 learner at Karibib Junior Secondary School.
According to the police, the body was discovered by a security guard lying along a footpath between Usab location and Karibib. The deceased had sustained two stab wounds to his back, injuries to his hands, and had a bloody nose and mouth. His mobile phone and shoes were missing.
The police arrested two Okahandja residents this week in connection with the case. The suspects are Kuje Tjimuine (31) and Nekwa Gabriel Hangula (22).
They were arrested on Wednesday, 30 July 2025, and appeared before the Karibib Magistrate’s Court this morning. The case was postponed to 11 September 2025, and they were denied bail.
