The Roads Authority (RA) has announced the immediate closure of the DR212 road between Aussenkehr and Rosh Pinah due to severe washaways on a section of the road.
“In addition, other sections of the road are extremely wet, making the surface very slippery and hazardous for motorists, thus necessitating the closure,” the RA added.
The Authority has therefore urged motorists to use the Noordoewer–Grünau–Keetmanshoop–Aus–Rosh Pinah road as an alternative route until repairs are completed.
