The Namibian Police (NamPol) are seeking the public’s assistance in locating 18-year-old Liina Makando, who went missing in Kuisebmond on Sunday.

According to the Erongo Police, Makando left home on Sunday to charge her phone elsewhere, as there was no electricity at her residence.
“Her phone remained off since the day she went missing, but when she was called yesterday, Wednesday, 25 June 2025, the phone was on. She answered the call and promised to return home, but she has not yet done so,” the Erongo Police said.
Police confirmed that all her friends and family members have been contacted, but no one knows her whereabouts.
Makando is described as light in complexion, approximately 1.7 metres tall, with an average build. She was last seen wearing a black formal dress. She speaks English and Lozi.
Anyone with information regarding her whereabouts is urged to contact the nearest police station or Detective Inspector Mansie Amamub on 081 724 8668.
