THE Minister of International Relations and Trade, Selma Ashipala-Musavyi, has arrived in Beijing to take part in the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation (FOCAC) and the China-Africa Economic and Trade Expo (CAETE), scheduled from 8 to 15 June 2025.

During her visit, Ashipala-Musavyi is set to engage in a series of high-level bilateral and multilateral meetings aimed at deepening diplomatic ties and expanding economic collaboration between Namibia and China.
Her engagements will primarily focus on advancing cooperation in key areas such as trade, infrastructure, agriculture, and digital technology. According to the Ministry of International Relations and Trade, these engagements are expected to reinforce Namibia’s position as a strategic partner in Africa-China relations and contribute to sustainable economic development.
