The incident occurred in Oshilulu village, Okahao Constituency in the Omusati Region, and the police are now investigating a case of robbery with aggravating circumstances.
It is alleged that a man and his wife were attacked by criminals at their residence. During the ordeal, one of the victims was struck on the head with a stick, while the other was cut with a panga as the suspects demanded money.
A woman who walked into the house while the robbery was in progress was also attacked. All three victims were then forced into a room, tied up, and locked inside by the suspects.
The suspects found the key to a silver Toyota Hilux VVTi 2.7 (registration number N 222-899W), into which they loaded the victims’ belongings before driving away.
