THE Namibian Police in the Khomas region are seeking public assistance in tracing the whereabouts of an 18-year-old Namibian woman identified as Richardine Ludine Rooi, who went missing after getting on a Yango taxi on the evening of 28 February 2025.
Rooi speaks Khoe-Khoegowab, with reddish-light brown hair that is brushed backwards.
She went missing on Friday, 28 February 2025, after leaving her residence in Juba Street, Wanaheda.

It is further reported that Rooi left her grandmother’s house at around 09:00, saying she was going to hand out CVS after taking her child to kindergarten. However, at around 20:00, the kindergarten contacted the family, informing them that the child had not been picked up. Attempts by the family to reach her have been unsuccessful to date. Her boyfriend last saw her in Khomasdal, where he requested a Yango (taxi) to take her home after they celebrated his birthday together at Chillaz. At the time of her disappearance, she was wearing all black and prescription glasses.
Investigations are being conducted but have not yielded any results thus far, hence Richardine Ludine Rooi or anyone with information regarding her whereabouts should contact Inspector Tsamares on cell: 0813699314 or report at the nearest Police Station.
