ILLEGALLY imported goods from Angola, initially limited to the border regions, are now being smuggled deeper inland.
The latest suspected smuggler to be apprehended was found at Okahandja, Otjozondjupa Region, on Friday.
The 18-year-old Angolan male was found in front of U-Save Shoprite on Voortrekker Street, where he was trading in illicit goods, namely 235 packets of Yes cigarettes, 74 sachets of whiskey, and ten bottles of whiskey (90ml each).
The value of the seized goods was not determined immediately.
