A resident from a neighbouring area raised the alarm on Saturday after reporting screams, prompting security personnel to respond to a suspected robbery at Namdia. The cries were later revealed to be those of Namdia staff, suffering under the torturous harm inflicted by dangerous, armed robbers.
These criminals were determined to pull off one of the biggest diamond robberies in history. In collaboration with Xiphos Protection Group, the Namibian Police swiftly acted on the SOS call. Here is the story, as told by the armed response officers who were first on the scene.
