JUST IN: Wentzel Maasdorp, a man accused of murdering his partner, Delia Weimers-Maasdorp, in April last year, has appeared for a formal bail application in the Windhoek Magistrate’s Court. The State alleges that he murdered Weimers-Maasdorp (40), with whom he was in a domestic relationship, in her Klein Windhoek flat. He is also accused of stealing her car, iPhone, and television before fleeing the scene. Maasdorp is additionally facing a charge of housebreaking with intent to steal and theft.
