He said that it was alleged that a Nissan X-Trail with registration number N81S, carrying two occupants (the deceased driver and her brother), was driving in front, while a Polo vehicle with registration number N219725W, driven by a lone female occupant, was following in the same direction.

Shapumba further reported that the X-Trail went off the road slightly, and when the driver attempted to bring it back onto the road, it hit the side of the road hard, causing it to roll and land on the front (bonnet) of the Polo vehicle behind.

The driver of the X-Trail, Beatrise Cathrine Brock, sustained severe physical injuries and passed away at the scene.

Her brother sustained minor injuries and was treated and discharged from the hospital.

The Polo driver, who was alone in the car, did not sustain any physical injuries, although her vehicle was damaged.

The police will conduct an autopsy to determine the exact cause of death.

Police investigations are ongoing.
