PRESIDING Officer of Okandjengedi South in the Oshakati East Constituency of the Oshana Region, Antonius Amugongo, stated that counting has not yet begun, even though the last person has already cast their vote.
Amugongo explained that they are awaiting further instructions, as the directive indicated they should continue with the voting process.
“We have had over 1,000 people cast their votes, and ballot papers are still available,” he said.
He added that the election process went smoothly, with no incidents reported. However, he added that they had to remain on-site for another day, which was unexpected.
