AN ELDERLY resident of Ethimalimwe village in the Tsandi constituency of the Omusati Region has committed suicide by hanging himself from a mopane tree near his traditional homestead.
According to the police, 90-year-old Schoombe Tyres Anditala was last seen around 22:00 on Monday when he went to bed. His lifeless body was discovered Tuesday morning hanging from a mopane tree in the mahangu field.
No suicide note was found.
