A 69-YEAR-OLD woman in the capital was tied up and robbed after thieves entered her home, taking cash and items valued at N$30,000.00.
According to the weekend crime report, the incident of housebreaking with intent to steal and theft occurred on Friday, 25 October 2024, around 07:00 at a house on Woermann Street, Klein Windhoek.
It is alleged that suspects jumped over the wall by removing the diamond wire, grabbed the 69-year-old woman, threatened her, tied her with rope, and took the following items: one laptop, one iPhone, three rings, four pairs of earrings, one small bag, and N$2,000.00 in cash, all valued at N$30,000.00. No recoveries or arrests have been made yet, and the police investigation continues.
