A 49-year-old man has been arrested on charges of murder and attempted murder after he allegedly shot and killed one of his managers, leaving a second victim receiving medical care.
Oshana’s Regional Commander, Commissioner Naftal Lungameni Sakaria, said the shooting incident occurred around 12h30 at Henning Crusher, Ondangwa, on Friday.
According to Sakaria, the suspect reportedly shot two of his managers with a pistol. One manager was shot dead, while the other was rushed to hospital.
“The suspect came to report himself at the police station. He came with the pistol used in the commission of the offence,” he said.
He added that it is still unclear what led to the shooting. However, police investigations into the matter continue.
