THE Namibian police have revealed that they are yet to identify the body of the man who was discovered at the Poly Heights building at the Namibia University of Science and Technology (NUST) in Windhoek.
According to Chief Inspector Elifas Kuwinga, the media liaison officer within the Namibian Police, the suspected suicide incident occurred on Thursday, 3 October 2024, at around 17:30 at Poly Heights, NUST.
“It’s indicated that a security guard at the premises heard a loud sound of something falling to the ground, and when he went to observe, he saw a lifeless body of an unknown male person on the ground. It is not known from which floor the deceased fell, and it is still not confirmed if he is a NUST student. At this point, there are no documents to identify him.” Kuwinga said.
He added that a full report will be compiled once all the information has been gathered by investigators at the scene. Police investigations are ongoing.
