JASON Heita, the 31-year-old man who went missing on 27 July 2024, has still not been found.
“Nearly two months have passed since his disappearance, and the Namibian Police Force is renewing its appeal for any information that may lead to his whereabouts,” NamPol’s Head of Public Relations, Deputy Commissioner Kauna Shikwambi, said.

Shikwambi revealed that Heita was last seen with friends after being brought to Wanaheda Police Station following an incident involving damage to a friend’s vehicle. However, Shikwambi confirmed that no case was opened against him regarding this incident, and he was released.
“Another report alleged that Heita was taken to hospital as he was said to be mentally challenged,” Shikwambi added.
Anyone with information regarding Heita’s whereabouts is encouraged to contact Senior Inspector David Ashipala on +26481 454 3565 or his aunt, Julia Haipinge, on +26481 286 0076.
