FOUR armed robbers targeted a gambling house in Okahandja and managed to get away with bags of money after threatening the shopkeeper and two security guards with knives and a panga. The incident occurred at around 22:40 on Saturday.
It is alleged that the suspects entered the J.S. SLOTS gambling house and, after subduing the shopkeeper and guards, gained access to the safe. They removed four bags containing an unspecified amount of money and also stole two cellphones.
One bag containing N$3,914 in cash was recovered later, but no arrests have been made yet.
