THE Namibian police at Oshikuku in the Omusati Region have arrested an 87-year-old male suspect for the alleged rape of a minor child. The 14-year-old victim is the suspect’s granddaughter.
It is alleged that the suspect invited the victim to his house in the Oshikushomunkete village and raped her on different occasions between January and March this year.
The alleged crime was reported to the police by the victim’s mother.
