AN ELDERLY German national and cyclist was hit by a vehicle while crossing a street in Windhoek over the weekend. The 83-year-old victim sustained a serious head injury and was taken to the Medi Clinic private hospital for treatment.
The accident occurred on Kenneth Kaunda Street and involved a silver Mercedes-Benz. The police identified the driver only as a 72-year-old male.
