THROWING IN THE TOWEL: The Secretary-General of the Popular Democratic Movement (PDM), Manuel Ngaringombe, has confirmed that its member, Vipuakuje Muharukua, has resigned from the party as well as the National Assembly. Ngaringombe said that Muharukua quit the PDM due to personal political convictions, stating that he is not ready to advocate for PDM and convince people to vote for it as an alternative to the ruling SWAPO Party government. Muharukua’s phone, however, was off when Informanté tried to reach him for commentary on his impromptu resignation.
