PRESIDENT Hage Geingob extended his congratulations to the Brave Warriors squad and the nation as a whole following their historic one-goal victory over Tunisia.
In the final minute of regulation time, Deon Hotto’s powerful header secured Namibia’s first-ever AFCON finals victory against Tunisia.
“Congratulations to the Brave Warriors for our 1-0 victory against Tunisia at AFCON 2024,” President Geingob tweeted.
President Geingob emphasized that there are no “small teams” in this tournament, highlighting the first-class soccer displayed by a first-class team. He expressed that he was the happiest Namibian on that day.
With an increasing number of people showing their support for the Brave Warriors, this victory is now regarded as a dream come true for the Namibian team.
