THE Ministry of Defence and Veterans Affairs is conducting training exercises involving vehicles and personnel, who, on occasion, will fire blank ammunition in the Hardap Region.
Head of Public Relations Division, Colonel Petrus Shilumbu, said the training exercise will be conducted from 06 to 08 November 2023.
Shilumbu urged the public not to worry about the movements of the soldiers and military vehicles, as well as the gunshot sounds, as they mean no harm.
“Care will be taken not to interfere with the normal day-to-day activities of the population in that area and not to cause any harm to the people or damage to the properties,” he concluded.
