A 17-YEAR-OLD boy died instantly after being struck by lightning at Kake village in the Mukwe constituency of Kavango West.
The deceased was identified as Kaghumbo Servanus Shamwaka.
NamPol Head of Media, Chief Inspector Elifas Kuwinga, said the incident occurred around 18:00 on Wednesday.
“The deceased was allegedly sleeping in his room when he was struck and died instantly,” he said.
He added that the body was transported to Andara mortuary pending the autopsy.
