A SECURITY officer shot and killed himself with a service pistol on Wednesday afternoon.
The deceased was identified as Josef Erastus, 46, employed by Falcon Security.
Oshana Community Affairs Officer Warrant Frieda Shikole said the deceased shot two times in the air and the third time he shot himself in the head and died.
“Two spent cartridges were found next to his body and the other cartridge was still in the chamber of a revolver pistol S/No LF77057,” she said.
She added that a Cal.38 Special was found next to his body.
