AFTER a known suspect allegedly fired at a 62-year-old woman named Amukwaya Hilma on Sunday, the Omusati police are yet to detain the culprit on attempted murder charges.
Omusati Crime Investigation Coordinator Deputy Commissioner Moses Simaho said that the incident occurred at Eendombe Village in the Ogongo Constituency.
“The suspect allegedly cocked the pistol and shot one bullet towards the victim; however, it missed,” he said.
He added that the suspect is known to the victim but has not yet been arrested.
Police investigation into the matter continues.
