POLICE in Omusati are investigating an attempted murder case after an unidentified individual allegedly cut a man in the head with an unknown object at the Onhimbu location in Outapi.
The age, residential address, and nationality of the victim, Ekandjo Silas, who was attacked on Monday night at Fifty-Fifty Bar, are unknown.
According to Omusati Crime Investigation Coordinator Deputy Commissioner Moses Simaho, the suspect allegedly inflicted a cut wound on the victim’s head using an unknown object.
“The victim sustained an open cut wound on the head, as well as swelling in the left eye,” he said.
Simaho added that the victim suffered a serious head injury and was immediately rushed to Outapi District Hospital.
The details of what transpired are still a mystery, but the police investigation is ongoing.
