HARD WORK and dedication continue to propel Oshela Senior Secondary School to success as they secure their fifth victory of the year.
The goal, according to Phillip “Wetu” Lazarus, the school sports organizer, is to reclaim their football glory from 2011/12 when they were recognized as the top soccer squad.
Lazarus emphasized that the school’s achievements are a result of the hard work and dedication of coaches, players, and supportive colleagues who enable them to deliver excellent results.
The first trophy was won in March during the Oshikunde Combined School tournament held from March 10 to 12, 2023.
The second trophy was secured at the Oshakati Secondary School tournament held between March 31 and April 2, 2023.
Continuing their winning streak, they claimed their third victory during their own school tournament held from April 21 to 23, 2023.
Immediately following that, they triumphed at the Onanghulo Combined School tournament held from May 12 to 14, 2023.
Their most recent triumph came during the Haimbili Haufiku Secondary School tournament, which concluded this weekend.
“We are now setting our sights on the Okapuka annual tournament, scheduled for July 21-23, 2023, at Ohangwena sports field,” he said.
Lazarus expressed the pride of the entire Okongo community in the boys and their unwavering support for the team.
