The David Namwandi Trust (DNT) has extended its annual invitation for the financial year 2023/2024 to prospective young graduates who aspire to be entrepreneurs.
According to a publication by the International University of Management (IUM), the initiative is aimed at identifying and nurturing entrepreneurs and start-up Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) with viable proposals and avail funds to young entrepreneur graduates from IUM, the University of Namibia (UNAM), the Namibia University of Science and Technology (NUST) and any private institution duly accredited by the Namibia Qualifications Authority (NQA), the National Council for Higher Education (NCHE) and/or the Namibia Training Authority (NTA).

The funding will empower such entrepreneurs and help them formulate a commercially, financially and environmentally viable growth strategy that, in turn, will significantly enhance the possibility of sustaining a business plan without the need for further external funding.
The application is open to start-up and existing SMEs with viable business proposals in the priority areas such as SME business start- up projects, HIV and Community Health Related projects, Information Technology projects, Human Resources Developmental projects and Energy security.
