A 33-YEAR-OLD Angolan woman ended her life by jumping into an earth dam at Oshaakondwa village, Oniipa area.
The deceased who was identified as Altina Da Graca Kaulimonika Dionisio Seuyadiva committed suicide on Wednesday.
Oshikoto Community Affairs Officer Inspector Ellen Nehale said the deceased allegedly jumped into a water earth dam and drowned.
“The deceased suffered from mental illness since 2016 and was last seen by the doctor on the 07/02/2023 at Onandjokwe state hospital,” she said.
Nehale indicated that no foul play is being suspected, however, a docket of inquest has been opened to investigate the real cause of the incident.
