Trustco Group Holdings lead the market this week, closing at N$ 0.51 per share after growth of 2.0%, with Capricorn Group second, closing at N$ 11.35 after growth of 0.4%. In terms of volume Capricorn Group lead the market with N$ 5.6 million worth of shares traded, with Namibia Breweries in second place with N$ 5.4 million worth of shares traded. The local currency gained 2.09% against the US Dollar, to close at N$ 17.62 per USD, and lost 4.66% against the British Pound, to close at N$ 20.22 per GBP. It closed at N$ 17.59 against the Euro, a loss of 1.90%.
Nictus Holdings Limited has released their audited consolidated figures for the 15 months ended 30 June 2022, and revealed that revenue increased by 39.8% to NAD 863 million, while profit after tax increased by 136% to NAD 43 million. As a result, basic earnings per share and headline earnings per share increased by 136% and 136.9% respectively, to 81.65c per share and 81.99c per share respectively. The group indicated that it is well positioned to excel over the medium-term, and that they remain confident despite economic hardships and an ever-changing business environment. Their board declared a final dividend of 26c per share, to be paid on 31 October 2022.
