An unidentified man was shot dead on Friday, 16 September, after he entered the premises of a 45-year-old man and attacked the man’s two daughters.
According to the police, the deceased allegedly entered the suspect’s house, which was locked at the time, in the Gemeente location in Katutura at about 3:00.
The deceased then attacked the suspect’s two daughters, who were doing their homework in the sitting room, and tried to rob them of their phones. The suspect heard the commotion and shot a few warning shots inside the house.
The deceased allegedly stormed at the suspect, who then shot the victim under his left arm with his licensed pistol. After running outside, the deceased fell down and succumbed to his injury.
The deceased is still unknown and the next of kin have not been informed. Police investigations continue.
