THE Namibian police force is currently investigating the discovery of barrels of firearms that were found buried in Tsumeb.
Deputy commissioner Kauna Shikwambi from Nampol stated the incident was reported at Tsumeb, on 8 September 2022.
She added that the barrels of firearms were discovered next to the Golf Course by Telecom Namibia staff while digging to determine the location of their cables.
The police explosive team also attended to the scene. The digging continues.
