A case of Culpable homicide is being investigated, after three people, including a police officer died last night when a Grey Honda Sedan that they were travelling in collided with a truck, 63km outside oshivelo on the road to Tsumeb.
The accident happened at around 23:00 and their next keen have not yet been informed.
Speaking to Informanté News this morning, Commissioner Teopoline Nashikaku, confirmed the incident, adding that the grey honda sedan had four occupants and three of them died on the scene.

“The driver of the Honda sustained serious injuries and was rushed to the Tsumeb Hospital for treatment. Both passengers of the Honda, including a member of the police force, didn’t make it, while the driver of the truck escaped unharmed” she said
Nashikaku further urged road users to be extra cautious and practice sober habits when using public roads, citing that road fatalities are on the rise.
“When we arrived at the scene, I could see bottles of Tassenberg on the side where the Honda sedan came to a halt, and pieces of broken bottles on the side of the truck. It appears there were people consuming alcohol in one of the cars and I am requesting motorists to desist from consuming alcohol when driving” She concluded.
