A 32-YEAR-OLD business man was allegedly robbed of items valued at N$145 000 by seven suspects, who were armed with firearms, on Friday, 2 September, at about 17:00.
According to the police, the victim was with two other people, while collecting money from Top score shops in Okuryangava, when the incident took place. The armed robbers allegedly shot at the victim’s vehicle, which resulted in the victim bumping into a security truck vehicle during the scuffle. No one was injured in the process.
The suspects allegedly stole N$100 000 in cash, an iPhone 13, a pistol and a shotgun, before making their getaway in a white Golf 6 Sedan.
The suspects are still unknown and no arrests have been made so far.
Police investigations continue.
