State Prosecutor, Arrie Husselmann in the court proceedings held on 28 July indicated that the state, as well as the defence lawyers of the accused, have agreed on 4th of August to plead in terms of section 119 of the criminal procedures act.

“All the accused persons are going to indicate to court whether or not they are guilty or otherwise. Thereafter, the case will be postponed again for the Prosecutor General to decide whether or not to prosecute them,” Kadhila Amoomo the defence lawyer said.

The two incarcerated activists Amushelelo and Nauyoma will also proceed with an application in the high court on 29 July, in which they will try to appeal against the decision of Magistrate Masule Kwizi’s decision for refusing to grant them bail.
