Namibian chapter of the Game Rangers Association

The Game Rangers Association was established in the early 1970’s in Natal South Africa. The aim of the association was to discuss and solve pertinent issues in specific conservation areas. The Namibian chapter was established in 2009. Mark Paxton, a world-renowned conservationist, serves as the chairman of the Namibian chapter of the Game Rangers Association of Africa.

The aim of the Game Rangers association is to assist rangers in the field, and the GRAA is also involved in various training, outreach, educational and awareness programs for conservation.
