THE Namibian police have reported the death of a 32-year-old Namibian woman, whose lifeless body was discovered in the early hours of Wednesday in Otavi.
According to Chief Inspector Elifas Kuwinga, the incident happened at about 03:00 in Petrus Naruseb Street.
Kuwinga noted that the lifeless body of a female was found lying in a street with a stab wound in her back by a passerby. It is suspected that she was stabbed with a sharp object.
The Chief Inspector noted that it is too early in the case to identify a possible suspect linked to her death, however, her boyfriend was brought in for questioning as police investigations continue.
The next of kin is informed.
