THE police in Omusati are investigating an assault case after 30-year-old Naunyango Henley Naatsilwe was allegedly hit with a pistol at Emuno Kalipi’s Cucashop in the Otsinka location of the Onesi constituency.
According to crime coordinator Deputy Commissioner Moses Simaho, the suspect is known by the complainant and has not been arrested yet.
“It is alleged that the suspect pointed the pistol at the complainant’s face and then hit the complainant with the pistol on the right shoulder,” he said.
He added that alcohol was involved.
