GIPF extends deadline for preservation regulation survey

GIPF extends deadline for preservation regulation survey

Staff Reporter

THE Government Institutions Pension Fund (GIPF) announced the extension of the Preservation Regulation Survey deadline to 20 May to ensure that members between the ages of 18 and 55 can share their views on the draft pension regulation.

The GIPF explained that the fund still requires members to complete the survey despite the indefinite postponement by the Ministry of Finance for the implementation of the proposed Financial Institutions and Market Act (FIMA).

The GIPF stated that members will be required to enter their Identity Document (ID) or Payroll number to complete the survey. This, the fund stated, is to ensure the integrity of the outcome of the survey.

To complete the survey, members are directed to visit the GIPF website at www.gipf.com.na. Alternatively, GIPF members can also send a blank text to 155 555. However, iPhone users are required to send the word “GIPF” to 155 555.

“Please make sure to make your voice heard before Friday, 20 May 2022,” Edwin N Tjiramba, GIPF’s General Manager of Marketing and Stakeholders Engagement, said.
