A 32-YEAR-OLD man has been arrested for attempted murder after stabbing 45-year-old Jackson Shikambe with a knife Saturday evening.
Oshikoto region police commander Armas Shivute said the incident occurred at the Nomtsoub location in Tsumeb around 21:00.
Shivute stated the suspect allegedly found Shikambe outside urinating and insulted him with “shanyoko” before going inside.
“The victim went back to his room and found the suspect standing at the entrance with a knife in his hands who then stabbed the victim four times all over his body,” he said.
Shivute said Shikambe was taken to hospital.
