THE Namibian police are investigating a case of theft and malicious damage to property after unknown thieves stole a plastic covering of a sewage pond and about 6 meters of wire from the Stampriet Village Council on Friday between 14:00 and 16:00.
It is alleged that the suspects gained entry to the property by cutting the sewerage fence open.
The police further stated that the stolen items, valued at N$3 500, have not been recovered and no arrests have been made yet.
