Missing Person: Jessica Tsuses (17)

Staff Reporter

THE Erongo Police have asked the public to be on the lookout for yet another missing 17-year-old girl who reportedly instructed her mother to leave her alone and stop the search.

Jessica Tsuses left the family residence, House 186 in the Hakhaseb location in Usakos, on Friday 14 January without informing her mother.

Jessica failed to answer her cell phone and she allegedly went to Swakopmund or Otjiwarongo.

According to the police, the mother informed them that Jessica sent a text from her number on Saturday 15 warning her not to contact her ever again and that she is in Otjiwarongo currently.

She has been missing since.

Anyone with information on her whereabouts can contact her mother on 081 315 7295, Detective Warrant Officer Rudolf Kasuto on 081 609 1846 or the nearest police station.

In a similar case, 17-year-old Whitley Beukes of Narraville reportedly also contacted her mother instructing her to stop the search for her after being reported missing on 7 January.

According to Inspector Ileni Shapumba of the Erongo Police, no foul play is suspected in either case.

He issued a warning to people, especially young girls, who cause a lot of unnecessary grief to their parents.

“Do not just disappear. Rather speak openly to your mothers. Show respect,” he said.
